The Crime Monitoring Cell, at North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry was established as per the instructions of the Chief of Army Staff, General (R) Perviaz Kiyani while at a meeting at Corps Commander 5Corps Office and  inaugurated by the Honorable Governor of Sindh, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan on 17th September 2012. For this purpose, at the cost of millions rupees funded by the industrialists themselves.

Crime Monitoring Cell (CMC) is equipped with CCTV and Speed Dom Cameras is functioning under the close coordination and collaboration of higher Police authorities and Rangers to strengthen law & order situation by preventing, minimizing and eliminating criminal activities and any untoward incidents, such as snatching, robbery, street crimes, etc., and provide effective and extensive security to the industrialists as well as to the general public of North Karachi Industrial Area, for monitoring and controlling criminal activities.
