About NKATI
NKATI stands for North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry, which is a registered trade body representing the commercial industrial and service units located in North Karachi Industrial Area (NKIA). NKIA is the largest Industrial Area in terms of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It came into existence in 1974. Initially there were plots of poultry farms which were converted into industrial plots that is why the net work of the roads of NKIA basically comprises of small streets as well as connected roads. It is scattered and spread over an area of 725 acres.

Capt. A. Moiz Khan, born in India 1943 and later migrated to Pakistan, had a diverse career. He was a Master Mariner from United Kingdom/Great Britain who travelled the seven seas and commanded many Ships and held the command of the German ship "T.S.S POTSDAM" which was also used by the Adolf Hitler later same ship was used in World War II. _ He was the first Captain who took thousands of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia on the Ships namely Safina e Hujjaj, Safina e Arab and Safina e Shams He also held a major role during the war of 1971 in carrying Pakistan Army troops to the battlefield. North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry plays a significant role as a bridge between Government departments like Local Government, Law Enforcement Institutions, Industrial services/ utility providers and court of laws where a collective representation is to be made on behalf of Industrialists of the North Karachi Industrial Area.
Associations also plays key role for the growth of Industries as well as the Industrialists through effective approach to support them whenever any issue / problem arises.

NKATI encourages and support an Industrialists and Industries of North Karachi Industrial Area, working together boost the exports of the economy. North Karachi Association is plays a prominent role to promote the spirit of respect, communalism among the Industrialists and represent them as well as highlight their issues on various forums whether Federal or Provincial. Our mission is to resolve issues, enhance, develop & maintain North Karachi Industrial Area and making it number 01 Industrial Area as a safe and desirable place to work for all Industrialists and Labors by upholding our Memorandum of Articles of Association & Trade Organization Rule/ Act – 2013.
